Herumon Tower has one realm. Every account holds one character, one save, one leaderboard presence. Death costs the win streak and nothing else — characters, creatures and items persist forever. (Autoplay can be set to step down one floor after a defeat — On Death: Go Down, its default — but that is your own setting, not a penalty; see Autoplay.)
SCOPE, D 2026-08-28 (correcting an over-reach): “crypt” here means the Bequest inbox — the mechanism by which items crossed from Hardcore back into the standard league, and nothing else. It does not mean the floor-90 den, whose name is The Undying Crypt (Varkolan, the Undying King, and its Void Apex twin on floor 118). That is a place in the game and it stays, in floors.csv, bosses.csv and everywhere the game names it. The floor-90 key’s description and art prompt were stripped of the den name on this reading and have been restored; no art was regenerated, so nothing else follows from it.
The Hardcore realm, the Seasonal ladders, the HC Season and the crypt bag (Bequest inbox) were removed on 2026-08-28 by D's order: “Delete hardcore and crypt systems. The game is going to have only 1 game mode.” The realm parameter survives in the save and API plumbing as the constant standard; any other value is refused server-side.
standard on every door, and nothing hardcore, crypt-bag or HC-season survives in the server; the only “season” left anywhere is the Auto PvP weekly settle (see Auto PvP). The lead now names the autoplay On Death step-down so “nothing else” cannot be read as a contradiction, and the page carries the shared nav like every other system page.agoStr time formatter with it — but that helper had
two callers and only one was crypt. The other is the PvP history list, which the same order marks
as untouched, and it runs inside the render pass: every boot threw there and every binding on the page
failed at once, so dev drew nothing for a day. Release 0.63 was never affected. No existing gate caught it
— the syntax is valid, so every build check passed and none of them draws a screen. The helper is restored and
tools/probe_dangling.py now refuses any call with no definition. The rule: deleting a block must
check every shared helper inside it for callers outside the block. A sweep of the whole 27–28 August
batch found nothing else removed-and-still-referenced.standard, the hardcore leaderboards dropped, realm validators refuse anything else, hcSeasonActive and bequests left the save door (verified empty on every live account; no hardcore save ever existed, so nothing stored was lost). Stage 2: the client — the GAME MODE picker, the crypt bag (icon, window, methods, seed data), the hardcore battle/forfeit/PvP guards, defHc and the _hc storage suffix are gone; token census 0 across app, markup and index; the wiped client boots and plays on a live save (probe 5/5). Stage 3: this page and eleven others rewritten; the floor-90 key no longer names its den “crypt”. Untouched by rule: the Auto PVP weekly season (a separate live system) and the floor-90 den's display name in floors.csv/bosses.csv (lore, pending D's word on a rename).
